Documenting the children's activities at school is a key element of our program. We also think it's important for parents to have access to these experiences. Rest assured, we will exercise careful judgment in choosing photos for sharing, ensuring they are appropriate.

Our school policy for handling situations where a child falls ill at school or arrives unwell is as follows:

If a child exhibits signs of a developing sickness, such as fever, influenza, chickenpox, Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD), RSV, other common childhood illnesses, or if their symptoms raise concerns about the potential spread of the illness to others, the school is legally obligated to promptly place the child under the care of their parents.

In such cases, the parents will be contacted and asked to pick up their child from the school office. Furthermore, the child must remain at home until they receive a doctor's clearance to return to school.

HCIK is permitted to require the parents of prospective and re-enrolling HCIK students to sign this parent agreement form.

1. I certify that the information contained in this application and supporting documents is complete and correct. I understand that Hana Christian International Kindergarten reserves the right to reassess and withdraw any offer of admission when an application is discovered to be incorrect or incomplete. Any additional information that I have regarding my child’s abilities or special needs has been included.

2. I understand that acceptance and enrollment constitute a contract to pay the school's fees as specified on the fee invoice, and I understand that there is no reduction or refund for absence or dismissal unless covered by the tuition refund policy. I have received and read the fee invoice and agree to be responsible for paying the fees according to the schedule set by Hana Christian International Kindergarten.

3. I understand that my child’s name and photos may be used in school materials and media; including but not limited to award presentations, ceremonies, newsletters, websites, videos, etc., unless I specifically request otherwise.

4.I acknowledge that my child must adhere to the regulations set by the school during school-related activities and trips sponsored by the school. I recognize that in emergencies, Hana Christian International Kindergarten will attempt to reach parents or guardians, but if they are unreachable, the school is authorized to provide the required emergency medical care or transport my child to an appropriate hospital for treatment.

5. If my child is determined to need ESL support, I understand that my child will receive ESL services, and that I will be required to pay the ESL fee.

6. I am aware that in the event of unexpected situations like political instability or the spread of infectious diseases leading to the school's closure, the school is not liable for any days missed and will not issue refunds. The decision to schedule any additional make-up days rests solely with the school administration.

7.All school fees are subject to change/increase.

8.All students are required to speak in ENGLISH only on school premises. As part of our commitment to maintaining high academic standards, we kindly request parents to assist us by reminding their children of the requirement to communicate solely in English.

9. Hana Christian International Kindergarten maintains the authority to refuse enrollment to any child whose behavior is deemed excessively disruptive to their own learning or to that of others. Additionally, if a child's educational needs exceed what can be reasonably accommodated within the standard program offered by HCIK, enrollment may be denied. In certain circumstances, additional fees might be necessary to provide special support to meet these specific educational requirements.

10. Lastly, I understand that as a Christian School the Teachers/School will teach according to Christian principles, morals and values. While the school is based on Christian principles, it still respects the diverse backgrounds of all students and aims to provide an inclusive environment that values each child's individuality. The focus is on nurturing not only academic skills but also the moral and spiritual development of the students in accordance with Christian beliefs.
