Thank you for supporting the ongoing efforts of the Sandhills Cattle Association to help students further their education.
It’s that time of the year again! If you’ve attended the Sandhills Cattle Association Annual Convention in the last 83 years, you know what a big impact our attendees, donors, and supporters have made at past events. Just last year, we were able to raise over $8,500 for our scholarship program through generous donations from the community.

For 31 years, the Sandhills Cattle Association has awarded scholarships to the youth of the Association members. In that time, 500 applications have been reviewed and reduced to 143 scholarship recipients, who have been awarded $120,250 just from the Sandhills Cattle Association alone. Because of this, each year, we are able to donate $9,000 to the continuing education of the Sandhills youth. We however could NOT do this without donations from you and others like you who care about the future of our community!

This year’s Scholarship Benefit Auction will be held on June 15, 2023 at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine, NE. This event funds our scholarship program and this year’s goal is to raise over $10,000. We’re currently looking for donated items such as coolers, paintings, photography, coats, hats, western decor, and more that can be auctioned off to help us meet our goal.
