  • Table space in the Students' Union Building (SUB) is managed by the University of Alberta Students' Union (UASU).

    This application form must be re-submitted whenever there is a change in the information that was previously submitted.

  • Will you be giving away any free products or promotional items (food/drink, promotional accessories/clothing, gift vouchers, etc.) at the table?*

  • Do you have a current business licence issued by the City of Edmonton for this activity?*

  • Booking Requests

  • Once you receive confirmation that your tabling activity is permitted, please contact UASU reception at tables@uasu.ca or 780-492-4241 one week prior to your preferred booking date to reserve a table.

  • Requests need to be made a minimum of 3 business days in advance to allow for processing. Where possible, 5-7 business days' notice is appreciated. The more advance notice you can provide, the more likely that we'll be able to accommodate your request.

  • Are your dates flexible if your requested dates are unavailable?*
  • Do you require access to a standard 120V electrical wall outlet?*
  • If you answer "yes" to the above question, we will provide you access to one standard 120V electrical wall outlet within 2 metres of the back wall of your table location. Please ensure you bring a suitable extension cord to safely reach your table without creating a tripping hazard.

    Please note that only a small number of table locations have nearby electrical power.

  • Will you be using any large backdrops or any other large furniture/displays?*
  • Standard stall dimensions are 10 feet wide by 6 feet deep (including table & chairs). Do you require additional space or multiple stalls?*

  • In addition to the above, additional regulations or conditions may be included in the confirmation documentation for a specific booking. Renters are required to comply with all regulations and conditions. The UASU reserves the right to not approve a booking or to impose additional conditions for any reason whatsoever.

    Daily table space rental rates and policies are published at uasu.ca/tables. Published rates and policies apply to all bookings unless otherwise indicated in writing by the UASU.

    By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have fully read, understood and agree to all policies, regulations and directives as outlined. I understand that a misrepresentation on this form or a violation of any regulations or direction from building personnel may result in immediate dismissal from the premises without reimbursement, and may disallow me (and/or my group) from booking rental space in the future.
