CONSTITUTION CRITERIA FOR LIFE MEMBERSHIP
1.1 A nomination of a member for Life Membership of the Club shall:
(a) be made in writing
(b) be signed by two members of the Club;
(c) be received and considered at the last Committee Meeting prior to the AGM;
(d) Be lodged with the President, Secretary, or a Member of the Committee of the Club.
1.2 For Life Membership to be given consideration by the Committee, each nomination must comply to the following criteria:
(a) Member – 15 Years Outstanding Service.
1.3 If a current serving Committee member has been nominated, that member, must leave the room, must not take part in the discussion and shall not be present during the vote of their nomination for recommendation of Life Membership.
1.4 On the recommendation of the Committee, members at an Annual General Meeting may elect, to a maximum of, Two (2) Life Members, provided due mention of such recommendation with the name with the name of the person proposed is made under the Secretary’s Report at that meeting.
