Since 2014, Art Week Des Moines has been dedicated to broader participation and support for our local art scene. Art Week Des Moines returns in its eighth year aiming to create stronger value for local artists and our community.
As always, Art Week Des Moines encourages local artists and patrons to activate in celebration of art. It is open to all artists wanting to showcase their work among the creative expressions growing in Des Moines.
What’s new in 2022?
New this year, the program focuses on neighborhood activations. Concentrating on one neighborhood each day brings art to new and unexpected places with concentrated activity and attention for our artist neighbors.

Note: You can certainly activate near or far from these areas; we are still here to lift you up during Art Week.
Note also: Your entry can be aspirational. Tell us where you think you want to be, and Group will work to connect you with potential venues.
The first step: your submission

Artists celebrating Pride or Juneteenth are especially encouraged to submit.
