This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, graduate assistants, and directors. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and distribute music for rehearsals, performances, recordings, and special events; Organize, file, and maintain sheet music, folders, and library inventory; Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and ensure timely returns of materials; Mark, label, sort, and assemble parts - assist with basic part preparation as assigned; Support concert cycle needs (folders, stage materials, last-minute reprints/updates); Maintain a clean, efficient library workspace and follow UT Bands procedures. Communicate promptly with staff regarding missing parts, errors, or urgent needs

  • The UT Bands Student Staff Uniform Assistant supports the daily operations of the Pride uniform room by organizing, issuing, maintaining, and tracking marching band uniforms and related equipment. This role requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented approach when assisting band members and staff. Key Responsibilities: Assist with uniform fittings, including sizing and adjustments for Pride members; Manage uniform check-out and check-in for rehearsals, performances, and travel; Maintain accurate inventory and assignment records (returns, swaps, repairs, replacements); Organize and stage Pride uniform components and accessories (e.g., jackets, pants, hats/shakos, plumes, gloves, gauntlets, rain gear, garment bags); Inspect uniforms for condition and communicate cleaning/repair needs promptly to staff; Prepare uniforms efficiently for game days, concerts/events, and travel weekends; Support concert/game-week “quick turn” needs: missing items, size exchanges, emergency fixes; Maintain uniform room cleanliness and follow Pride/UT Bands procedures for storage and handling
