Food & Alcohol: The Host may bring in food or have it catered in the Bellflower’s catering kitchen which has a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and sink. The Host or the Host’s caterer will be responsible for supplies, dishware and utensils. Alcohol may be served to guests as long as it’s complimentary and is not sold. The Host may bring in a bartender to serve alcohol, however, the bartender must carry liquor liability insurance. Caterers and bartenders are typically insured. The Host, caterer or bartender is responsible for supplying cups and/or glassware.
Parking: Paved parking is available for approximately 18-25 vehicles. Additional parking is available less than ¼ of a mile at the MDOT US131 carpool lot facility (Exit 44). Street parking or parking on neighboring private property is prohibited. Shuttle service to and from the carpool lot may be obtained through a third-party vendor.
Clean-Up, Lost & Abandoned Items: The Bellflower asks that all trash be placed in the garbage and appropriate recycle bins. At the Event’s conclusion, please take away all your belongings including decorations and boxes used to transport items to the Venue. Items left behind will be donated if the Bellflower is not notified within 24 hours that an item has been left behind. Please keep your valuables with you at all times. The Bellflower is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Prohibitions: No smoking, vaping, fireworks, sparklers or illegal drugs may be used or possessed in the Venue. Guests may smoke outside of the Venue, but any cleanup related to smoking will be deducted from the security deposit.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable to the other if it is unable to timely perform any of its obligations hereunder, to the extent such reason is beyond its control, including Acts of God, war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, government sanction, labor troubles or riots.
Indemnity: The Host shall indemnify, defend and save harmless the Bellflower, its officers, agents and employees from and against any and all loss, cost (including attorneys' fees), damage, expense and liability in connection with claims, judgments, damages, penalties, fines, liabilities, losses, suits, administrative proceedings, arising out of any act or negligence by the Bellflower, its agents, employees, contractors, invitees, representatives, in, on or about the Venue. This indemnity shall survive the termination of this Agreement. The Host shall not at any time be liable for damage or injury to persons or property in or upon the Venue. The Host hereby releases the Bellflower from any and all liability or responsibility to the Host or anyone claiming through or under the Host by way of subrogation or otherwise for any loss or damage to equipment or property of the Host covered by any insurance then in force.
Electronic Execution: A copy of the signature of any party will be immediately binding on that party on its receipt by the other party by electronic mail and will have the same effect as an original signature.
Counterparts. This Agreement may be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which when taken together, shall constitute one and the same Agreement.
Michigan Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan.
