Describe your Float entry, and how it's theme "rings" with your organization.

List Make & Model of your trailer. Please include total length of the float bed with the hitch. Trucks will be asked to drop their floats in their assigned spots and repark the towing vehicle

Animals are not allowed for 2026 Float displays.

RULES:

Entry Demographics:

1) Floats will be freestanding and self contained within a 20'x20' area. This is designed to allow fo walking space. Floats beds will not exceed 18'.

2) Floats beds need to be double axle and able to stand alone, without the tow vehicle.

3) Floats trailers are to be delivered and dropped off. Towing vehicle is to be detached and relocated until the float is picked up after competion and voting is complete.

4) Any power is to be battery opperated. Generators are not allowed and will disqualify the entry.

5) The float, it's participants and/or live actors, pets or animals are the responsibility of the applicant and are not to be left unattended at any time.

Contest Regulations:

1) Entries are not to be left unattended. One to two person shall be on site to answer questions and engauage with the public.

2) You are allowed to hand out candy or information about your group/organization shold you choose to.

3) Blind Judging will run from 10:00am to 1:00p Saturday only. Be nice and engaging to those coming by, you never know whos watching!

4) Winners and awards will be announced from the Family Stage at 1:30 PM on Saturday.

Entry into the Pumpkinfest Float Showcase is limited and up to the discretion of the South Lyon Pumpkinfest Parade Committee and/or the Pumpkinfest Executive Board.

Confirmation emails will be sent to each entry upon selection into the Float Showcase.

By submitting this application the applicant and any individual respresenting them agrees to abide by the Rules and Policies for Pumpkinfest Parade exhibitors. They agree that the City of South Lyon and the South Lyon Area Pumpkinfest's Executive Committee, shall not be held liable for any injuries, damage, loss of property or inventory of any kind. His/Her and their heirs, administrators, successors and representative or any other person or organization which may follow them shall hold the South Lyon Area Pumpkinfest harmless to any event or issue. Furthermore, applicants hereby, fully and forever release The City of South Lyon and The South Lyon Area Pumpkinfest's Committee and its volunteers from any and all causes of action, claims or demands of any nature, whatsoever arising out of this event. Furthermore, the applicant hereby confirms that he/she has the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of their business or organization. The applicant also agrees that he/she has read and understands the policy of this application and agrees that he/she and any individual representing their organization will abide by it’s terms herein.
