The NYS Youth Justice Institute is launching its inaugural Youth Justice Peer Advisory Council in Spring 2022. The council will include 12 to 15 young adults who will advise state and local youth justice leaders on youth policies and practices, system reform, and on how they can support all of New York’s youth toward success. The PAC’s membership will prioritize youth with experience in juvenile justice and/or runaway and homeless youth services, youth of color, and LGBTQIA+ youth, and will seek representation from all of New York’s regions.
Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
