Our new licensing system has made great strides for greater security and reduced license piracy. Unfortunately, this has been offset by an increased amount of unauthorized license resale. Ensuring proper use of DirectAdmin datacenter products helps us provide a fair marketplace for our datacenter partners and their customers. We have listened to our datacenter partners, and have begun stricter account verification & auditing as a result.
Step 1: Determine if your datacenter account is active or inactive

Active datacenter accounts are defined as meeting ALL of:

- Contain no more than 50% legacy products (products that are no longer for sale)
- Hold at least 40 non-expired recurring (subscription) datacenter products
- Have ordered/activated license(s) in the past 365-day period
- Have NOT reached Inactive status more than once

Inactive datacenter accounts are defined as ANY of:

- Contain 51%-100% legacy products (products that are no longer for sale)
- Contain less than 40, or none at all, of recurring (subscription) datacenter products
- Have not placed an order of any kind in the past 365-day period
