We are NPIP certified/PT & AI Clean and will submit appropriate VS 9-3 Form information to be included with your shipped eggs. If this Form is rejected by your state, preventing the shipment of eggs, I will let you know immediately and payment in full will be refunded.
Rainbow Eggs- 6 Count $25; 12 Count $45; 18 Count $60 (plus shipping)
Our current rainbow layers include Smooth and Frizzle Feathered Lavender Ameraucana, multi-generation Olive Egger, Blue Marans, Black Copper Marans, Cuckoo Marans, and Crele Crested Legbar. They are covered by Black Copper & Blue Marans, Olive Egger, and Crele Crested Legbar roosters.
We also have a small flock of purebred Lavender Ameraucanas that reside in our new chicken tractor. These are smooth feathered hens covered by a frizzle feathered rooster and may be included in your order. Offspring will be smooth or frizzle feathered and it is easy to tell once feathers start growing in.
As noted on the website description- our rainbow layers appreciate a pasture-raised lifestyle and are not pen bred to produce specific egg colors. The bird you hatch may not produce eggs that are the same color it hatched from. I have, however, selected roosters to cover my hens that will encourage a nice color variety.
EGG ID- eggs are marked with a code to tell you what type hen they came from and a key is included.
SHIPPING- You may choose USPS PRIORITY ($25) or USPS PRIORITY EXPRESS($60) below. As another option, if you are local you may pick up your eggs at our farm in Paige TX.
WHEN WILL MY EGGS SHIP- I ship on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday in order of payment received. You will get advance notification as well as a tracking number via text when your eggs ship. If you need a particular ship date please put it in the Special Instructions Box below =)
HATCHING EGGS DISCLAIMER- Our eggs are collected daily, labeled accordingly, candled to check for cracks, and then placed on a turner until being packed in foam for their journey to you. We take much pride in our hatching eggs and will do everything in our power to ensure that you have a great hatching experience!
Even in the best scenario, a box of shipped eggs will be loaded and unloaded with thousands of other packages at distribution centers, it will ride on conveyor belts and in vehicles, and will incur several transfers and handling by people that are moving many packages as quickly as they can. All of this bouncing around definately takes a toll on your shipped eggs and WILL impact your hatch rate, be it minimal or significant. For this reason, as well as variations in incubation and hatching methods, we simply cannot be held responsible for poor hatch rates.
Fertility is checked frequently by actual incubation of our eggs.
