  • Walker D.R.E.E.M Scholarship

    Application (2022 - 2023)

  • WALKER D.R.E.E.M. Foundation was created to target generations who are considered to be the underrepresented segments of society.

    Priority for the recipients of the WALKER D.R.E.E.M. Foundation Scholarship will be given to students who have a need for academic support in order to pursue a program of postsecondary education.

    Special consideration will be given to students from low-income families, first-generation college students and students who potentially have a high risk for academic failure.

  • Requirements

    Requirements for applying for a Walker D.R.E.E.M. Foundation Scholarship

    1. Must write atleast a 300 word essay on what you aspire to be and why.
    2. Must have performed atleast 20 hours of community service.
    3. Must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
    4. Must have 1 letter of recommendation from a certified principal, vice principal, teacher or counselor from your high school.

    Please list one educator and at least one community person who would recommend you for a scholarship. Please do not list the person who completes a scholarship recommendation for you.

    List name of club, etc. and years of participation. If you volunteered, list the name of organization and the number of hours, weeks and years that you volunteered. If you worked, list the company, hours per week and length of time. Attach an additional sheet or resume if necessary.

  • Needs-based Scholoarships Parent Financial Information

    If you want your student to be considered for need-based scholarships, you will need to make available a copy of the first page of your most resent tax return and you must complete the information requested below. All information supplied by you will be treated as confidential. If you chose not to submit any financial information, your student will not be considered for need-based scholarships. Most donors require a financial statement. If your financial circumstances change after you have submitted this form, please feel free to contact us. Complete this entire page if you want your student to be considered for need-based scholarships.
