Please know that some tours require 3-4 weeks notice to fulfill requests for private tours, and bookings are subject to availability. Details are below. We'll do everything we can to make your event happen.

If you're looking to book a Boston By Little Feet, Heart of Freedom Trail, Road to Revolution, Dark Side, North End: Boston's Immigration Gateway or Beacon Hill private tour and your group is 12 people or less, you can book your private tour directly on our website private tour calendar.

- Private Tours may be canceled up four days before the tour for a full refund, minus deposit paid. If a cancellation occurs within four days, the tour can be rescheduled, but not refunded.
- Tours are rain or shine. Boston By Foot may cancel or reschedule a tour in case of extreme weather. Tours canceled by groups due to inclement weather will not be refunded.
- Please arrive 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled tour start. Late arrivals of 20 minutes without notice will result in a cancelled tour.

BBF Virtual Experiences are generally 100% virtual, with both the private client and the guide remote. Subject to availability, with advance notice and additional rates, scheduling may be available on-site at the client's place of business or organization. For on-site programs, client's are responsible for providing all necessary technology for the program presentation.
60 minute Virtual Programs. Starting at $150. 2-3 weeks lead time preferred. Public Library pricing available.

Applications for Volunteer Tour Guide Training 2023 are now open. To apply for our annual training program, please exit this form and submit our online volunteer application.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Boston By Foot volunteer! Volunteers support our mission at Boston By Foot in many ways. If you are interested in our volunteer tour guide role, please know we currently offer tour guide training annually, typically in early spring. Guide Training applications for 2023 have closed.
