CURRICULUM: Program lead teachers are responsible for the Program Curriculum (Lesson Plans, Adaptations, Classroom Practices and Quality) and guide the Assistant teaching team.

IEP / IFSP: If an "Individual Education Plan" or "Individual Family Service Plan" is already in place for a child, the plan is shared by the parents with the Lead and Assistant Teachers to be familiar with the plan and individual needs of the student. When an IEP/IFSP is being developed during the student's attendance, the Classroom Lead Teacher is part of the meetings, assessments and planning of the IEP. Parents have the right to choose where their child attends preschool, and to receive district services wherever their child attends.

NAEYC / EARLY CHILDHOOD STANDARDS: As a program, LADC has been NAEYC Accredited since 2009. The NAEYC / Early Childhood Standards are followed and have been provided for review to all team members.

MANDATED REPORTING / REPORTING RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALTREATMENT OR MINORS: Mandated Reporting and the Reporting Responsibilities are covered during the Program Orientation training. All workers in contact with young children are Mandated Reporters and must report to the county and/or DHS when maltreatment is seen or suspected.
