    The Chatham Music and Arts Day Camp Scholarship Fund was created by Chatham University to provide partial camperships for needy students to attend Chatham University Music and Arts Day Camp at Chatham University, Pittsburgh PA. This campership is available for campers in grades prek-9; either the six-week, three- week or one-week programming.

    1. Applicants must want to attend Chatham University Summer Camps at Chatham University.
    2. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
    3. Applicant’s schedule must show art and music selections of some kind.
    4. Supplemental Work: (please include with your application)
    • Applicants in grades K-1 are required to submit a drawing with their application that would demonstrate
    their potential learning experience at summer camp.
    • Applicants in grades 2-5 are required to submit a brief paragraph describing why they want to attend
    Chatham Day Camp
    • Applicants in grades 6-9 are required to submit an essay (no more than 300 words) describing why they
    want to attend Chatham Day Camp

    *Please submit one application for each child that would like to apply for a scholarship. Do not put multiple children on the same application.

    Final selection of the scholarship winner(s) will be decided by a Scholarship Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee consists of three to five persons from the community at large. No member of the Advisory Committee, or his or her immediate family, is eligible for scholarship assistance during his or her tenure on the Advisory Committee. Payment will be made to Chatham University of the child. The committee will notify the parent(s) by May 1st.
