  •  --Who is eligible to receive free vaccines?--

    Members of our community with resident dogs (8 weeks and older) and cats (9 weeks and older). We are not in a position to offer free vaccines to breeders at this time.

    --What is the canine DAPPV vaccine?--

    Canine DAPPV protects your dog from Distemper, Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. For puppies, this vaccine is given as a series of multiple vaccines.

     --What is the feline HCP vaccine?--

    Feline HCP protects your cat from Feline Rhinotracheitis (herpesvirus), Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Panleukopenia (distemper). For kittens, this vaccine is given as a series of multiple vaccines.

    • The 5-in-1 DAPPV Vaccine helps protect puppies and dogs against many diseases including Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper Virus, Canine Infectious Hepatitis caused by Canine Adenovirus type-1, respiratory disease caused by Canine Adenovirus type-2, and Canine Parainfluenza Virus.

      Recommended Protocol:

      Minimum age of 6 weeks or older.

      Vaccination of puppies should begin at 6-8 weeks of age and be repeated every 3-4 weeks until 16-18 weeks of age. Dogs over 4 months old, that have never received vaccinations, will receive an initial vaccination with one booster vaccination 3-4 weeks later. Adult dog booster vaccination should be given at a frequency recommended by your veterinarian.

      What it Does:

      The 5-in-1 (DA2PP or DHPP) vaccine protects against:

      Canine Parvovirus
      Canine Distemper Virus
      Canine Adenovirus type-1
      Canine Adenovirus type-2
      Canine Parainfluenza Virus

    • Feline HCP is recommended for all cats; the vaccine we offer through this campaign is recommended for cats 9 weeks and older.

      Recommended Protocol:

      Vaccination of kittens should begin at 8 weeks of age and be repeated every 3-4 weeks until 16 weeks of age. A booster vaccination should be given one year later, and then afterward as established in consultation with your veterinarian.

      What it Does:

      The Feline HCP vaccine protects against 3 common and highly contagious viral upper respiratory infections:

      Feline Herpesvirus
      Feline Calicivirus
      Feline Panleukopenia Virus
