• NCAE PAC / NEA Fund Contribution Form

  • We are building a community of voters that care about the future of public education. NCAE PAC and the NEA Fund allows us to pool our dollars together to fund advocacy campaigns and elect pro-public education candidates to make working and learning conditions better. Students win when educators and our community allies stand together and speak with a united voice.

Only NCAE members, their immediate family, and our Community Allies, may donate to the NCAE PAC and the NEA Fund. If you are a school worker, click here to become a NCAE member today.  To become a Community Ally, click here.

PAC contributions are separate from membership dues.

  • NCAE values contributions at all levels. PAC Champions sustain our work by giving consistently each month.

  • I understand that the recurring contribution amount I authorize using this form will update and replace any previous recurring PAC commitments I have made. One time contributions made using this form will not affect previously authorized recurring contributions, except if paying by credit card, NCAE PAC and NEA Fund are authorized to charge all of my one time and recurring payments to the same credit card.
  • While PAC contributions are separate from NCAE membership dues, NCAE requires members paying by credit card to use the same card for their dues and their PAC contributions.

  • By clicking on this button, I agree:

By providing my phone number, I understand that NEA, NCAE, the local association, NEA Member Benefits, and NEA360 may use automated calling techniques and/or text message me on my cellular phone on a periodic basis. Carrier message and data rates may apply to such alerts.

I hereby authorize NCAE to collect my PAC donations in accordance with the pay method I have selected above, as a voluntary contribution to the NCAE-PAC, my local association’s PAC, and the NEA Fund. I understand that NCAE requires members paying membership dues by credit card to use the same credit card for both their dues and any voluntary PAC contributions. I therefore authorize NCAE to update my credit card information, replacing any previous card I had on file with this one. If I pay membership dues payments by credit card, I further authorize NCAE to use this same card for both my dues and my voluntary NCAE-PAC contribution.  I understand that (a) the recurring contribution amount I authorize using this form will update and replace any previous recurring PAC commitments I have made, and (b) a one time contributions made using this form will not affect previously authorized recurring contributions, and (c) that if paying by credit card, NCAE PAC is authorized to charge all of my one time and recurring payments to the same credit card.  I understand that (a) I may revoke this collection by sending a written request to the state office, and (b) PAC donations are not refundable and I have read the disclaimers below.

The North Carolina Association for Educators Political Action Committee (NCAE-PAC) collects voluntary contributions from members to support recommended candidates in state and local elections. The National Education Association Fund for Children and Public Education (NEA Fund) collects voluntary contributions for political purposes, including, but not limited to, making contributions to and expenditures on behalf of friends of public education who are candidates for federal office.

Contributions to the NEA Fund and NCAE-PAC are voluntary; making a contribution is neither a condition of employment nor membership in the Association, and members have the right to refuse to contribute without suffering any reprisal. Although NCAE-PAC and The NEA Fund requests an annual contribution as indicated above, these are only suggestions. A member may contribute more or less than the suggested amount, or may contribute nothing at all, without it affecting his or her membership status, rights, or benefits in NCAE, NEA or any of its affiliates. Contributions or gifts to NCAE-PAC and The NEA Fund are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year.

State law requires us to collect and report the name, address, occupation and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $50 during an election. Only U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents may contribute to the NEA Fund, NCAE-PAC, or local affiliate funds.  Federal and state law prohibit the NEA Fund and NCAE-PAC from receiving donations from persons other than members of NEA and its affiliates, and their immediate families. All donations from persons other than members of NEA and its affiliates, and their immediate families, will be returned forthwith.

I hereby authorize NCAE/NEA to charge my credit card, in accordance with the agreed upon Credit card procedure, as a voluntary contribution to the PAC, my local association’s PAC, and the NEA Fund the guideline amount for such contributions proposed annually. This authorization shall remain in effect unless revoked in writing to NCAE.

I understand that my contribution will be evenly divided between the NCAE-PAC, the NEA Fund, and my local association PAC (i.e., on a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 basis).
