The Role of the Interfaith Coordinator
The Interfaith Coordinator will work with the Director of Campus Ministry to create programs and events oriented towards learning from and dialoging with the different faith and spiritual traditions that make up the campus.
This is an opportunity to cultivate curiosity and the desire to share and listen to the diversity of faith and spiritual traditions through community events, observance and celebration of various holy days, discussion groups, and so much more!
Other responsibilities include:
1. Outreach and foster student relationships with all St. Michael’s community members.
2. Helping students transition to university and integrate into the community, with a special attention to international students.
3. Attending weekly Campus Ministry team meetings.
4. Supporting the student life initiatives of other USMC partners (e.g. Campus Life, Alumni Affairs, Student Societies, Principal’s Office, etc.) and collaborating on these initiatives when possible.
5. Connected to the Multi Faith Centre at UofT.
6. Ensuring all USMC rules and policies are upheld when organizing student events (e.g. Conferences, Food Services, etc.)
