  • Job Summary:

    Our Electrical service company is growing and we're looking for experienced and skilled Electricians to undertake a variety of task relating to new construction electrical installation. The job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and pole, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances. 

    Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must also be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems.

    The goal will be to produced and maintain well-functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents and maximize usability of electricity in all facilities. 

     

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
    • Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code. 
    • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears.
    • Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.
    • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps. Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
    • Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
    • Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. 
    • Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications.
    • Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches and outlets. 
    • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging, trenches, to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects. 
    • Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
    • Work alongside non-licensed personnal to ensure they are on task and adequately prepared to become license electricians; oversee the work of lower electrical employees.

     

    Requirements: 

    • High school diploma/GED required.
    • 5+ years' experience in the electrical trade
    • Completion of electrician apprenticeship
    • Valid driver's license
    • Able to work on a team
    • Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
    • Good hand-eye coordination
    • Demostrate deep knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, repair of electrical systems and equipment, power generation, blueprints.
  • Job Title: Electrician Helper

    Job discription
  • Job Summary:

    Performs semi-skilled electrical work. Assists a journey electrician on major projects  or independently performs more routine electrical work.

     

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Assists ELECTRICIAN in installing and repairing wiring, fixtures, and equipment: Supplies ELECTRICIANS with materials and tools, using hand trucks, or by carrying material. 
    • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit (both EMT and rigid, and wire mold).
    • Measures, cuts, and installs wires into conduit and makes proper connections.
    • Threads conduit ends, using pipe threader, and connects couplings and conduit fiitings, using wrench.
    • Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads and twisiting wires together, applies tape or terminal caps.
    • Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as multi-meter, volt-ohm meter, amp-probe, etc. Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. 
    • Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and powers equipment. Installs or places control and distrubution apparatus or switches and circuit-breaker panels.
    • Secures brackets to bulkheads with screws and bolts and pulls wires through conduit leading to connection boxes, switch panels, and other terminals.
    • Performs electrical repairs to include, but not limited to, outlets, switches, and ballasts; removes and replaces light fixtures; and repairs appliances and faulty equipment and systems.
    • Performs other semi-skilled electrical projects as assigned. 

     

    Requirements:

    • 1+ years' experience in the electrical trade

    • Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
