If you are interested in enrolling a Toadstool in Folksy in the Forest, they will need to be picked up between programs as there is no wrap care available. You may also each lunch with your child on campus.

If you are interested in enrolling a Gnome in Folksy in the Forest on the days they are not in morning programming, please select the number of additional days you would like to enroll. Additional Forest days will be charged at the regular rate.

Please note that due to NYS regulations, children 6 years or older can be enrolled in no more than 12 hours of enrichment programming during standard school hours.
I understand as a parent of child 6 years or older, that per NYS regulations, I cannot have my child enrolled in more than 12 hours of enrichment programming during standard school hours. I understand that it is my responsibility to abide by this regulation.*

What is your child's comfort level being outdoors in all weather conditions? Participating in daily activities outdoors such as eating, learning, toileting, etc?
I understand that Folksy in the Forest is totally nature-based, and children will be outside in all weather conditions, except severe (we will usually follow Clarence School District weather closings, and additionally Folksy in the Forest teachers may cancel school due to other severe weather conditions.) I am committed to providing my child appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
I understand that Folksy in the Forest is NOT appropriate for children who do not follow instructions. Children will also be allowed an unusually wide range of physical experiences including going to the bathroom outside.
Application Fee and Disclosures
I have read and reviewed the parent handbook that is posted on the website.
I understand that the school curriculum is experiential and seasonally nature-based. Folksy School is child-directed and includes, music, art, social interaction and exploratory play. All teachers are experienced and/or trained in nature/outdoor education.*
I understand that the Folksy School experience requires parent participation and support which includes four hours of volunteer time for the year. Folksy School will charge a $75 participation fee annually, which is fully refundable upon completion of all volunteer hours. Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to fundraising, indoor cleaning, gardening, outdoor spring cleaning, etc.*
I understand that the admissions process includes a school tour for parents and children to attend together to determine if Folksy School is a good fit for everyone before final enrollment forms are signed.*
I understand that this application is NOT a contract, and I will expect to hear from the Director within two weeks of receiving this application. If all spaces are full, my child will be placed on a waiting list.*
Once your application is received, you will receive an email from the school with further registration information. Tours are required prior to final registration and intended for children and parents unless otherwise noted.

If you are currently registered in Folksy House Buds or Gnomes programming and paying monthly tuition, you are not required to pay an application fee or complete a new tour. Please proceed to submitting your application without payment.
