DISCLOSURE, WAIVER, AND AFFIRMATION
By submitting this form, I affirm I have read and understood the terms and conditions of the residency as listed below, and have carefully considered them prior to applying for a residency at Wildacres Retreat.
Wildacres Retreat offers artist residencies at no charge to qualified candidates. There is a $30 non-refundable application fee. (If you are applying with a co-resident, you only need to pay the $30 fee once.)
Each residency is good for the year it is awarded. If you are unable to attend, you may re-apply for another residency, but we are unable to carry residencies over to subsequent years.
Each residency cabin is self-catering so residents have the option to prepare their own meals.
If groups are at the retreat and our dining hall is open, residents are welcome to join us for meals (free of charge) in the dining hall. We will let you know prior to arriving for your residency if there is a chance the dining hall will be closed, so you can plan ahead.
Residents are responsible for their own transportation to and from Wildacres Retreat, as well as while they are in residence. The retreat is unable to assist with transportation either to or from the retreat or during a resident's stay. Please consider that aspect carefully before applying.
Residents are responsible for providing any supplies and equipment they may need for their proposed residency project. With the exception of potters needing access to kilns, residents must rely on their own equipment and supplies during their residencies.
Each residency cabin has a landline that residents are welcome to use to call out, as cellphones do not typically work at the cabins. While there is WiFi in the main retreat buildings, there is limited Internet access at the residency cabins.
The application deadline is midnight on October 15th. No applications will be accepted after that date and time. Residency decisions will be made by the middle of January and we will begin contacting candidates in early February.

In order to be considered for review, your application must be complete, including all supporting documents, and you must have submitted your non-refundable application fee.
After submitting your application, please use the PayPal link on our residency program page to submit your non-refundable $30 application fee. You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application and payment of your fee.
