PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE FILLING OUT THE FORM!!:
To create an appointment for the Sponsored Anza Spay/Neuter Program, please first read the following rules and expectations:
THIS PROGRAM RUNS ENTIRELY ON DONATIONS. If there's no donations...Then the program can't continue! Please donate towards your pets surgeries to help others in need!!
Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary does not own or operate a spay/neuter clinic. Until Hope Ranch can get another date for a Spay/Neuter MOBILE bus to come out to Anza, Hope Ranch is currently sponsoring any animal who can go to a third party clinic in Escondido, San Diego, Murrieta, or Wildomar (these locations may vary at any given time)...
- Hope Ranch will reach out to you regarding potential Spay/Neuter appointments that work for you, should funds allow.
- Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary books appointments through a variety of clinics located in: Escondido, Wildomar, and San Diego, and several others.
- Escondido take place on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY.
- San Diego take place Monday through Friday ONLY
- Wildomar take place Mondays through Fridays (Fridays are CATS ONLY).
-
You MUST provide your own transportation to and from each Spay/Neuter clinic.
- For ONE day only (surgery day), your animal(s) will be under “Hope Ranch ownership” in order for your Spay/Neuter bill to be paid for!
-
Hope Ranch will create your appointment and cover your vet bill which will include Rabies vaccination (unless you have PROOF OF UPDATED RABIES). Hope Ranch will provide you with an appointment date, address, drop off and pick up time as soon as Hope Ranch recieves one for you.
-
You MUST show up to your assigned drop off and pick up time that will be provided to you. If you fail to show up to your appointment, then this will hurt both Hope Ranch and this sponsored program which can cease to exist for other community members who need appointments. In other words, PLEASE SHOW UP TO YOUR APPOINTMENT!!
-
EACH spay/neuter appointment can cost Hope Ranch $250 per pet on average. While we will be paying your bill (or as much of it as possible), we do not have a money tree in our backyard! Donations are always appreciated to keep this spay/neuter program running for other local community members who are desperately in need of it. Donations can be sent after the surgery has been completed directly to Hope Ranch via Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, or Mailing a Check. See also: www.hoperanchanimalsanctuary.org/donate
- Please be kind, patient, and understanding during this process. On top of the community animals needing spay/neuter, so do the adoptable animals residing in the care of Hope Ranch. Hope Ranch pets get PRIORITY for Spay/Neuter. Your appointment date depends entirely on when and if Hope Ranch recieves an appointment date available for community animals and if funds for this Spay/Neuter Anza Program are available. Hope Ranch has recieved approximately 600 requests for help with Spay/Neuter since Feburary 2022 and the number continues to rise each week. You will be contacted ASAP when an appointment becomes available for your pet(s).
- If you filled out this app but have not heard from us in a while, PLEASE CHECK IN AND SEND A REMINDER!!! Text us at (951) 240-6881. We cannot read minds if your pet is urgently in need of Spay/Neuter. Please don't hesitate to give us a nudge!
If you cannot transport AT ALL, please continue to fill out this form so that we may contact you as soon as we have a clinic address or another local bus and a date that will work for you and your pet.
This program relies 100% on donations from community members, fellow pet lovers, and grants.
