Once a Vendor is approved by both SVBRA and The Village of Sylvan Beach (This can take a few weeks- be patient! As Board meetings are held monthly) Vendors are then approved for the season IF AND ONLY IF, the merchandise being sold does not change. Any changes in the merchandise being sold you MUST submit a new application for approval.
• Although we do NOT require Crafts & Direct Sale Vendors to show proof of insurance or add us as additionally insured, we ASK if you do hold an insurance policy to add both the following as additionally insured:

• No food or drinks are allowed for sale in the park without specific authorization. Alcohol beverages may not be consumed, possessed, or offered by anyone in the park.
If approved FOOD VENDORS & HENNA TATTOO ARTIST MUST provide a Certificate of Insurance naming BOTH the above as additionally insured
You are responsible to get all the needed permits from Oneida County.
• NO REFUNDS will be given once a vendor has been approved and payment has been submitted. This INCLUDES refunds due to weather- be advised, all our shows are OUTSIDE.
• Vendors are responsible for all apparatus they deem necessary for booth set up (table, chairs, canopy, etc.) If a booth with an electric hook-up is utilized, the vendor is responsible for providing their own extension cords. All cords must be UL approved and in good working condition. Tents/canopies used MUST be staked down to the ground- we recommend they are weighted for stability and safety
• Vendors using generators will be placed within the market so as to not subject other vendors or consumers to excessive noise or fumes while in operation.
• Vendor spots will be allocated by the Vendor Coordinator. Requests can be made to be next to a friend, but ultimately Vendor locations are based on what is best for the show.
• Vendors are not allowed to “Share” space.
• Gambling is NOT allowed in the park. This includes but is not limited to tickets for a “basket raffle” for products.
• Shrubbery, Trees, Benches, Waste Containers, or any other Park property shall NOT be moved or disturbed.
• Vendor Show starts time and check-in is listed on each application. Set-up must be completed, and staging vehicles removed 1/2 hour before the show begins. Vehicles’ may enter the “Village Green” but movement within the Vendor 1/2 hour before showtime creates an unacceptable public safety issue. Booths will be set up facing the walking areas for customer convenience. All vendors are required to remain in their designated Vendor space and set up for operation until the end of the show. In emergency situations, contact management to leave market space early. If you pack up early without management approval you may not be asked to come back to our shows. These are advertised shows and we do not want to let our visitors down.
• We will provide you with ONE Free Parking Pass for the day- If you have more than one Vehicle, you must pay for parking. This pass must be displayed visibly on your dash. Handicap parking is available upon request. You are welcome to park closer, but daily parking fees will apply- Yearly Parking Passes are available for $25 from the Village Clerk. The Village Clerk’s Office is Open Monday-Friday. 315-762-4844 for more information. *Please be sure to move your vehicle to the designated parking area as soon as you are done unloading.
• All Vendors must cease sales no later than 7 pm each evening of the event. All fixtures’ vehicles, etc. must be removed from the park no later than 8 pm at the end of the event. Unless Given Specific Permission from The Event Coordinator to remain open. At no time are sales permitted after 11 pm. If you are a vendor for a two-day show, you are welcome to leave your tent set up. We will not be responsible for any loss/damages to your belongings.
• Vendors, performers, concessionaires, etc., must take their own garbage out with them. It is the responsibility of each participating vendor to leave the booth space clean and litter-free.
• Vendors are required to use good judgment and take appropriate actions if dangerous weather conditions threaten, including ceasing operations, packing up loose items if possible, and seeking shelter. If management judges that weather conditions are too dangerous to continue safe operations, vendors must cease operation, pack loose items, seek shelter.
• Vendors will be respectful and courteous to customers, Vendor staff, volunteers, and fellow vendors always. No shouting, hawking, offensive language, or behavior will be tolerated. Issues between vendors will not be addressed during Vending hours so as not to disturb operation or impact the experience of consumers but will be addressed by Vendor management at the conclusion of the Vendor session after the public is cleared of the Vendor space.
• All Vendors/Persons must comply with applicable Village, State, County, and Federal Laws & Statues. SVBRA (OLESMA) reserves the right to prohibit further use by any vendor that violates the conditions of use or is not in the best interest of both SVBRA (OLESMA) and The Village of Sylvan Beach. This determination can be made by SVBRA (OLESMA), Village Administration, The Mayor, and Codes Enforcement Officer.
