Deposits:
If there is not a puppy in the available litter, you joined initially your position will move into the next available slot on the list. If possible, the puppy Buyer will also be given the opportunity to move to the end of the deposit list of available puppies of the opposite sex. By placing a deposit you understand that the timing of a litter is NOT guaranteed.
Due to the inconvenience created for the breeder and other clients or potential client families, you will lose your
deposit if any of the following apply:
1. Changing your mind about the purchase after an amount of time spent occupying a spot on a list. Failure of the
Buyer to complete this purchase would subject Seller to lost opportunities to sell the Puppy to some other Buyer
and retention of the Deposit is meant to compensate Seller for his possible loss.
2. If you fail to confirm your intention of purchase after the pups are born or you are non-responsive throughout the
developing stages thereafter.
3. Failure to collect the puppy on the scheduled availability dates for that given litter.
Transferring a deposit
If something comes up on your end that requires you to move to another litter you may transfer your deposit to another litter. However, you acknowledge that you are only allowed to transfer it once. If you must transfer it more than once you will be required to pay a $100 recommitment fee at the time we have an available puppy for you that will come off the total cost of the dog or forfeit your deposit. If you do not use the deposit once you have paid the recommitment fee you will lose both entirely and will not be added to another list. You also understand that you will no longer be locked into the original price format. If the price increases, you will have to pay whatever the price is at the time you choose to get a puppy.
Picking up Your Puppy
We prefer you pick up your puppy at our home in Kentucky at around 8-10 weeks old. We may be keeping several for a few weeks longer for evaluation.
Nosam is not responsible for the shipping/delivery of your dog and all costs will be the buyer's expense. If you choose to have your puppy delivered, then payment must be received (7 days) before the puppy is set to leave.
If an arrangement is made for a later pickup date, there will be a $50 fee per day to board your puppy. This fee will be required to be paid before the puppy is picked up.
Health Guarantee
We have a separate document that will be signed at pick-up for the full extent of our guarantee. To create an accurate record of our conversation, The signing of this health guarantee will be recorded.
•To the best of the breeder’s knowledge the puppy is sound, healthy, and free from disease or disability as far as has been discerned. The puppy has been given their first set of vaccinations, has been dewormed, and has had a health check by a licensed veterinarian. The dew claws have been removed and the tail docked.
•It is recommended that the purchaser arranges for a veterinarian examination of the puppy within the first three days after the date of transfer of the puppy for a health checkup. Failure to complete the post-sale vet visit within 3 days voids the health warranty.
Should the veterinarian determine this dog to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Seller, this dog may, upon presentation of a written diagnosis from said veterinarian, be returned for a refund of the purchase price. Upon receipt of the puppy, the Seller will refund the full purchase price of the puppy. Nosam Kennels will not be responsible for any vet expense or diagnostic testing for any reason. We reserve the right to have a second option obtained from another veterinarian of our choosing.
