  • Do you have any comments on:

    a) The types of permit that will be issued, and the period for which permits will be issued;
    b) The application process, including the period of time before arrival a permit must be applied for and the information required by the Government to process an application;
    c) Whether the Government should levy a charge for such permits, and whether this charge should solely cover the administrative costs or provide additional funding for wider conservation and administration of the Territories;
    d) The types of persons exempted from the permit process (“deemed permission”) and the conditions applied to them;
    e) The reasons for the refusal of a permit, or the revocation of permission;
    f) The process by which the Government will meet its obligations under the Refugee Convention 1951.
