2022 Rib Vendor Application

Dear Rib Vendor,

The RibFest at Conneaut Lake Park will be holding its first event this year.  This event will focus on the National Rib Vendors, along with local Breweries, Distilleries & Wineries.

Live Music, Giant Beer Pong Contest, Car Cruise-in, Corn Hole Tournament, Motorcycle Night, and kid's activities will be happening all weekend.  

The event is being held at Conneaut Lake Park in Conneaut Lake, PA, one of the oldest amusement parks in the U.S..  The park always draws a large crowd for their special events. 

We are limiting the number of rib vendors to 4, as we want to make sure you have a profitable weekend.  I am a vendor myself and understand the costs of operating and traveling on the road. (I have funnel cakes, lemonade, tenderloins, etc)

Rib FOOD VENDOR –

FEE   $500

Electrical Power - 50 amp power will be provided 

Refrigeration Truck - A refrigeration truck will be provided to be used by all Rib Vendors.

Water & Waste Water - Fresh water and a place to dump gray water will be provided.

Grease & Ash Disposal - Both will be available to use all weekend

Propane Sales - We are currently working on retaining a propane vendor.  We will contact you prior to the event with the contact information.

Insurance - You must carry and provide proof of comprehensive general liability insurance with coverage not less than $1,000,000 single limit, active during the term of the event.  If accepted, you will need to submit a certificate of insurance indemnifying and holding harmless The RibFest at Conneaut Lake Park, Signature Events Erie, Gears-N-Grub Limited, Conneaut Lake Park, their agents, officers, and employees from all claims from damage to property or bodily injury, including but not limited to death, which may arise out of any permit issued herewith.  The RibFest at Conneaut Lake Park, Signature Events Erie, Gears-N-Grub Limited, Conneaut Lake Park, must be named as additional insured.  This policy shall not be terminated or canceled prior to June 20, 2022.

Permits - The right to operate a concession in Conneaut Lake, PA is contingent upon the approval of the County Health Department.  It is your responsibility to contact the Crawford County Health Department prior to the event and pay any applicable fees for said license.

 
Upon Acceptance, you will be required to submit a copy of your Certificate of Insurance by June 1, 2022.

Terms & Conditions

Signature Events Erie takes pride in our event. For that reason, we will hold food vendors to very high standards to represent our event.

The following rules and regulations apply to ALL food vendors:

1.  Event hours are 11:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday & Saturday, August 19-20, 2022 & 11:00 - 6:00 pm Sunday, August 21, 2022..  Vendors MUST be open and ready to serve during the event hours. Absolutely no early teardown.  If violated, you will not be permitted to apply to ANY events produced by Signature Events Erie in the future.

2.  Trash must be placed in the dumpster each night.  Cardboard boxes must be broken down and placed in the dumpster. 

3.  Vendors must bring their own trash cans.  Trash cans in the event area are not for vendors’ use.

4.  Vendors must comply with all Crawford County Health Department regulations.

5.   You are responsible for keeping your area clean and sanitary at all times.  Any trash that needs to be disposed of throughout the day can be placed in the dumpster at any time throughout the day.

6.   Acceptance to participate this year does not guarantee acceptance in subsequent years.

7.   Vendor spaces cannot be reserved.  Placement is not guaranteed from one year to the next and is subject to change. 

8. No subletting of space,

9.  It is the responsibility of the vendor to follow all COVID regulations by the State of Pennsylvania and the County of Erie, PA.

10.  A menu MUST be displayed with prices clearly marked.

Failure to comply with the terms & conditions outlined above could result in the right to participate in future years.
