Academic and Achievement Scholarships
Scholarships ranging up to $1,000.00 are awarded to recognized minority students in Indianapolis who have attained outstanding academic achievement, or who show unusual artistic or creative promise. Eligibility is based on academic achievement, as reflected by class standing, grade point average (3.5 on a 4.0 system or its equivalent), SAT and/or ACT scores, special awards and/or citations. Outstanding artistic or creative achievement as evidenced by special awards and/or citations in their artistic endeavor, letters of reference from groups or individuals knowledgeable of the artistic or creative area attesting to the applicant’s achievement and potential.
Educational Grant
Educational Grants ranging up to $500.00 are awarded to minority students in Indianapolis wo have demonstrated the potential for success in postsecondary education. Eligibility is based on academic achievement as reflected by class standing and grade point average (2.5 on a 4.0 system or its equivalent), extracurricular activities, and financial need.

Scholarship and Grant Application Instructions
1. Applicants should complete the official Zeta Phi Scholarship and Grant application form online at: www.AuspiciousZetaPhi.com
2. Applications should write and submit/upload an essay to Zeta Phi’s Scholarship and Grant Committee explaining how and Omega scholarship or grant will help them to achieve their educational goals. Applicants desiring consideration based upon artistic or creative achievement should provide evidence of past accomplishments, such as copies of news clippings, certificates, awards, as well as letter(s) of support from a person or persons knowledgeable of the artistic or creative area and the applicant’s accomplishments and potential.
3. Submit a copy of your high school transcript.
4. Request that 3 responsible individuals who know your past performance and future potential provide letters of reference to be submitted along with the application form. Request one form from a past teacher or educator.
5. Applicants wishing to be considered for an Educational Grant must complete Part II of the application, providing family financial information. Applicants applying for Academic and Achievement Scholarships are required to complete Part I.
6. Submit completed application form, 1-page letter, a copy of high school transcript and 3 letters of reference by Apr 30th each year for consideration for the upcoming academic year.
