These are the positions typically filled seasonally for the pool. All positions may not be available for the upcoming season, or may have already been filled. Applications are always accepted and will be kept on file for a period of one year.

Temporary positions within the City of Tuscola employment are provided Paid Leave in accordance with the Illinois Paid Leave for all Workers Act.

If you are not currently certified but are taking a certification course, or are enrolled in a certification course, what is the expected date of completion.You must provide the City a copy of your certification once you have successfully completed the course.

If you are not currently certified but are willing to try to become certified in a City scheduled course please list your availability for training (training classes are typically set up for Friday-Saturday).This course requires completion of an on-line course, then attendance at a 2-day in person class. Lifeguard candidates must be at least 15 years of age and be able to swim 300 yards, tread water for 2 minutes using legs only, and retrieve a brick from deep water and return it to pool side.
