  • Welcome to the Presence Conference—an extraordinary gathering crafted exclusively for high school students in grades 9-12 affiliated with Illinois Student Ministries who sense a calling to embrace full-time ministry.

    At this event, Illinois Student Ministries extends a warm invitation to many Assemblies of God schools. Their presence is not just promotional; it's an opportunity for students to embark on a comprehensive exploration of diverse educational avenues. Recognizing that each student is unique, not every school will be the perfect fit, and that's perfectly fine. We aim to present a broad spectrum of options, igniting conversations that empower students to make informed decisions as they navigate the exciting journey of fulfilling their calling. Get ready for an immersive experience where possibilities unfold and connections flourish at the Presence Conference.

  • REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS:

    To guarantee your active involvement, please take note of the following expectations:
  • Application for Participation:
    All exhibitors are required to complete an application before the specified deadline. Registration fee is $125 per person. Failure to do so will regrettably result in the inability to attend any part of this impactful weekend.

    Pre-Approval Requirement:
    To participate in the Presence Conference, exhibitors must receive pre-approval from their school's admissions department or representative, underlining our commitment to a curated and purposeful gathering.

    National Background Check:
    As part of our commitment to a secure environment, all exhibitors are expected to undergo and submit to a national background check, with the results kept on file.

    Mandatory Orientation Meeting:
    We value your engagement and require all exhibitors to attend the orientation meeting. This session is designed to provide essential insights, ensuring everyone is well-prepared to make the most of this conference.

    Event Operation Assistance:
    Exhibitors play a crucial role not only during booth hours but also in aiding the seamless operation of the event. Your support outside booth hours is immensely appreciated, contributing to the overall success and vibrancy of the Presence Conference.

  • REGISTRATION:

    Presence Conference counselors & staff must have their completed application submitted to ISM no later than Feb 28, 2025.
  • CONFERENCE SCHEDULE:

    Exhibitor/Support Staff Check-in is 1:00pm Friday. This will allow time for set-up, job assignments and event overview with leadership team prior to student arrival. The event will conclude with dinner at 5:00 PM on Saturday. Clean-up will be immediately following the dinner. It is expected that exhibitors aid in tear down.
  • Thank you for your commitment to being part of the Presence Conference volunteer team! To ensure a smooth and efficient registration process, please take note of the following requirements:

    Complete Application Submission: All volunteers are required to submit ALL pages of the application form, a background check form, and personal & pastoral reference forms in their entirety. Only fully completed applications will be considered for registration. Failure to submit all required documents may lead to processing delays and could result in the staff member's inability to serve at Presence Conference.


    Timely Submission: To avoid any complications, please submit all necessary documents promptly. Incomplete applications will not be processed until all required information is received.


    Placement Notification: Completion of the application process does not guarantee placement at Presence Conference as either support staff or cabin leader. All volunteers will be notified of their placement status prior to the event. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this matter.
