  • Stylist & Modeling Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

    ·African American, Black, Pan African

    ·High School seniors, students with GED diplomas, undergraduate (2 year or 4 year) college students, and students at vocational or trade schools.

    ·Career Changers may apply. Must not have an undergraduate degree.

    ·US citizen or Permanent Resident.

    ·18 to 44 years of age

    ·Minimum 2.0 GPA

    ·Household income not exceeding $75,000 USD.

    ·Their proof of resilience in the face of adversity and a willingness to make positive contributions to their communities are necessary for consideration.

    ·Student must effectively communicate how they are will serve the community upon completion of the program.

    Factors of consideration for proving a compelling passion for a fashion career.

    ·Display of Leadership

    ·Community Service

    ·Socio-Economic Factors

    ·Quality of Essay and/or Video Message Submission

    ·Testimonials to Character

  • Read the eligibility requirements (above) carefully prior to submitting your application.  All winners will be notified on or before the 31st of July, 2022.

  • If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

    • How you have persevered in the face of adversity (homelessness; food insecurity; financial challenges; incarceration; teenage pregnancy, or something else).
    • Why receiving this scholarship is important to you.
    • Why you want to become a Fashion Stylist.
    • How you will serve the community upon completion of the program.

    Note:  Video submissions up 3 minutes are permitted.
