Regina Catholic School Division
RCSD acknowledges that we all have a shared collective history and a collective responsibility to actively engage and commit to Truth and Reconciliation. We believe that having a representative work force is key in developing strong relationships as we continue to move forward in our journey of Truth and Reconciliation.
The Regina Catholic School Division is currently seeking interest from grade 12 self-declared Indigenous students who anticipate enrolling in the University of Regina SUNTEP or FNUC teacher education programs.
As a means of encouraging Indigenous students to pursue a career in Catholic education, the Regina Catholic School Division has established an Indigenous education Teacher Bursary Program. This program is a return service; bursary during years one and two will be $1,000.00 per year and for years three and four the bursary will increase to $1,500.00 per year. In turn, this will require a two-year service commitment to the RCSD upon successful completion of the education degree.
