Join Janet Olaofe, Head of Content at Together TV and co-founder of Diverse Film Fund, David Clews, Creative Director at Twofour, Kit Morey, commissioner editor at Channel 5, and Blaise Singh, a Diverse Film Fund alumni, for a webinar to hear about the structure of the fund, the resources and support each filmmaker would receive and how people can apply.
Together TV is the UK’s broadcaster inspiring positive change, motivating people to do good within their communities. Last year they launched their first Diverse Film Fund and commissioned five emerging filmmakers to produce 10-minute documentaries on Black Lives Today that aired on Together TV, ITV Hub and Sky Documentaries on-demand to coincide with Black History Month.
This year the Fund will again be supporting five new talents by providing up to £20,000 per filmmaker to create a 20-minute documentary about Queer Lives Today.
This webinar is an opportunity to hear from the Together TV team, judges, mentors and alumni on:
• how to excel in your application
• the judging process
• the experiences of Diverse Film Fund Alumni Blaise Singh, director of award- winning The Beyoncé Experience, and Sheila Kayuma, director of The Black Equestrian.
• and any other burning questions you have
