Upon Approval of the Borough and Issuance of a Certificate, this application shall be signed by both the Sellers and Buyers of the above referenced property. By signing this application the Buyer is acknowledging receipt of Notice that the property did not satisfy the requirements for a ReSale Use & Occupancy Certificate and that the Borough of Schwenksville will issue either a Temporary Access Certificate or a Temporary Occupancy Certificate. The Building Codes Official (BCO) shall make this determination.
A Temporary Access Certificate shall be issued for properties that do not satisfy the requirements of the Borough Code and the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code for Occupancy as determined by the BCO. Access to the premises shall be permitted to the Buyer/New Owner for the purposes of correcting all Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code and Schwenksville Borough Ordinance violations identified for the premises per the the INSPECTION REPORT which shall be attached hereto.
It is expressly understood by the Buyer/New Owner that within one year (365 days) of issuance of this Temporary Access Certificate, the required repairs/modifications (the "work") shall be completed; it shall be the Buyer/New Owner's responsibility to obtain all required permits and pay all associated fees to the Borough of Schwenksville attendant to the work. It is further understood that the Buyer/New Owner shall re-apply for a Use & Occupancy permit within one year (365 days) of issuance of this Temporary Access Certificate unless time period is extended by mutual agreement between Buyer/New owner and the Borough of Schwenksville.
