Theater Rental - Contra Costa Cinema

Enjoy your own private screening of the movie of your choice with family and friends! Guests renting our smallest auditorium #4 (up to 25) will receive a snack pack, which includes popcorn, 12 oz fountain drink from the Coke Freestyles and a fun size candy. For all other auditoriums, snack packs can be purchased at a discounted rate of $5/pack. Outside food is NOT allowed*, with the exception of a birthday cake or birthday cupcakes. Birthday candles or open flames are prohibited. No helium balloons are allowed in the building. (*Outside food is an option on a case by case basis. Catering fees start at $100.)

You will have access to the auditorium 30 minutes before the movie starts. Please do not arrive earlier than the agreed upon time. The rental ends when the movie ends.

PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE AT THE BOX OFFICE which is open every day until 8 PM and until 10PM on Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment by phone.

We accept cash, credit cards and Contra Costa Cinema gift cards. Loyalty reward points are not earned on party rentals.

Your rental fee is refundable up to 48 hours before your event. In the event of cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice we will allow you to reschedule. A theatrical film refers to a film that the theater is showing to the public around the date of your rental. A Blu-Ray must be provided by the guest. Please note that auditorium 3 does NOT allow Blu-Rays.

Please mark to show you have read the event details above. Once the movie has started we are unable to pause. If you are bringing a Blu-Ray, please ensure we have it at least 30 minutes prior to the movie start time. If you arrive late to your booking, we cannot hold your spot. If you arrive past your event start time we reserve the right to cancel the event and you will forfeit a portion of your costs. This is a private event, as such, we are not liable for any injuries.
