  • A partnership between Google, the National Association of Workforce Board and West Michigan Works! is offering a limited number of scholarship for the Google Career Certificate Program, which includes training for IT support and automation, data analytics, project management, digital marketing, and user experience design certificates. No previous experience required. The online trainings are offered through the Coursera platform.

    NOTE: Before you submit an application, you must create an account or update your existing account on Pure Michigan Talent Connect. 

    Once you complete and submit your application, please check your email for a confirmation from West Michigan Works! with important information. If you don't see the email in your inbox, please check your junk email folder.

  • Eligibility

  • Google Certificate Scholarship eligibility:

    • One scholarship per person. If you are currently participating in a Google training, you will need to complete it before applying.
    • Must live in the West Michigan Works! service area: Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon or Ottawa county.
  • Scholarship vouchers are limited to one per person.  You will need to complete the training you are currently taking before applying for a new voucher/scholarship.

  • Currently West Michigan Works! is providing scholarships to residents of the seven counties it serves: Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, Ottawa.
