  • I am aware my student(s) is/are participating in a self-guided virtual learning experience with uThinkIndigo (Company). From this point forward they will be referred to as a Master Student(s) which means we are supporting a culture of self-mastery and personal academic responsibility within a supportive virtual community.  

    • As a parent,
      I am responsible for monitoring and reviewing, weekly, the goals we have agreed to achieve with uThinkIndigo. 
    • uThinkIndigo will electronically track and monitor student progress and provide weekly and quarterly reporting to our family. 
    • I give permission for each youth participant to engage fully with team members and contract instructors via virtual platforms and field trips.
    •  I also give permission for uThinkIndigo, staff, representatives, and authorized media organizations permission to print, photograph, and record my child for, including but not limited to: publicity, copyright purposes, illustration, advertising, and web content. 
    • If applicable, we will take the necessary steps to become a legal homeschool and can verify that all learners under the age of 18 are enrolled in a legal learning institution. We understand uThinkIndigo is willing to support us in this process. 
    • We understand that we are not issued academic credit or grades by Blue Star Virtual Learning and have taken full legal responsibility for educating our learner(s) via homeschooling or enrolling our learner(s) in a traditional setting.
    • The Company will provide additional support resources upon request. 
    • We agree to maintain consistent communication with our Education Concierge and assist our Master Student(s) with completing agreed upon work and activities in order to see the results we seek.
    • We understand that we are responsible for paying our membership fees in  in order to keep an active status in the program. If we are deactivated, we lose access to our curriculum database.

    This agreement may be ended by either party at any time, however, all payments received are nonrefundable since independent contractor procurement to manage your caseload and online curriculum accounts have been activated. Billing starts at the first of the month and full payment of the account is expected regardless of end date. Parent/Guardian(s) may request the account agreement be reviewed by Owner, Melissa Perkins (melissa@bluestarvl.com, 984-200-0069 ext. 1001), at any time to ensure excellent customer service is delivered.
