1.17 Penalties, Protests, Complaints and Dispute Resolutions
a) The Board will impose a Penalty on any Team that fails to adhere to the By-Laws of the Wyndham Netball Association
b) A Team wishing to protest or dispute the result of a game must lodge a complaint on the official complaint form which is available on the Wyndham Netball Association website and send via email to the Wyndham Netball Association within 72 hours of the end of the game.
c) A Team wishing to protest a Penalty must lodge the protest on the Penalty Appeal Form to the Association within 72 hours of the Penalty being received. If a team fails to protest or dispute the penalty to the Association within 72 hours of a penalty notice being received the penalty will stand.
d) A person, official or Team wishing to protest the misconduct of officials, players or Teams must lodge a complaint on the official complaint form which is available on the Wyndham Netball Association website and, if required, send via email to the Wyndham Netball Association within 72 hours of the incident occurring. If the complaint form is not received within 72 hours, the Board will not consider the complaint
e) Upon receiving a protest, dispute, complaint or appeal the Board or its representatives will consider the matter which may include:
(i) Discussing the issue with the relevant Team or Teams
(ii) Informal meetings with the parties involved
(iii) Gaining any and all information that the Board considers relevant to the matter
f) The Board will advise the result of the protest, complaint, appeal or dispute and this decision will be final
If a team wishes to appeal/protest against a team penalty that has been incurred, please complete the form within 72 hours of receiving the penalty notice.
