You will be required to provide a Workshop Plan Sheet prior to your class. This should detail what tools or items that are not included in the price and for students to bring along. I can forward you an example of a Workshop Plan Sheet if you would like.
Please keep in mind your Workshop has to strictly run on time. We recommend allowing yourself 45mins for setting up, then 45mins post workshop to pack down and clean up.
We invite, indeed encourage you to arrive at the studio prior and explore, making sure you are aware of what is availble for you to utilise, the location of toilets, refreshment facilities, powers points etc. We will work closly with you to ensure you have everything you need.
The final/advertised price for your Workshop will include your charge and a small fee to House of Artisan for costs associated but not limited to, room hire, full catering, apron supply and laundering, booking fee, marketing & advertising, internet and power and ticket sale charges. The House of Artisan fee is usually around $45 - 50 pp depending on Workshop type, length and inclusions.
You are not required to spend any money on advertising your Workshop, however you are encouraged to share your Workshop link from our page to any of your media platforms and word of mouth.
In the rare event that less than the minimum number of 4 spots are not booked, that Workshop will be either postponed to your next nominated time slot or a refund provided to the students, whichever they prefer.
Your payment will be rendered in full upon the conclusion of your workshop via immediate bank transfer.
Cancellation/Refund Policy for Workshop attendees-
In the event that House of Artisan cancels a scheduled class, attendees are entitled to opt for either a transfer or a credit note.
Should they be unable to attend the class, they have the option to delegate someone else to participate on their behalf.
Alternatively:
(A) Refund requests can be made up to 4 days before the commencement of the class, subject to an administration fee of $50.00
(B) Transfer requests can be made up to 4 days before the class starts at no additional charge.
(C) Credit note requests can be made up to 4 days before the class starts without incurring any fees.
Regrettably, no changes or refunds will be accommodated after this period. This decision is informed by the fact that both House of Artisan and the Teacher have incurred various costs related to class preparation, encompassing materials, travel and accommodation, catering, miscellaneous supplies, advertising, and ticket fees, among others.
