1. To provide a safe and clean environment for your foster.
2. To set your foster up for success by following all isolation, decompression, and introduction protocols.
3. To provide exercise, basic training, and socialization, as deemed appropriate. This may include potty training, crate training, and leash walking. We cannot guarantee any level of training, but will always relay all information we have received.
4. Monitor, record, and relay any behavioral and medical problems as needed in a timely manner.
5. Transport your foster to and from any veterinary appointments and adoption events, or inform a team member if you need transport assistance. Our vets are located in Arlington and Garland, TX, all spay/neuter appointments are in Garland, TX.
6. To assist in the adoption process by communicating with approved potential adopters, scheduling meet and greets, and assist with home trials.
7. To take pictures and videos as well as create a bio for your foster dog (or assist team with this process!)
8. To comply with our policies, mission, and philosophies. KINDNESS is our most important values, and our fosters will reflect this when representing our organization, especially with our vet and business partnerships.
9. Be committed to the foster dog in your care throughout the adoption journey, unless discussed and approved prior to receiving your foster. Your foster may be with you for days, weeks, or months. We cannot guarantee any length of time the foster process may take. We do everything we can to get our dogs adopted as quickly as possible. If for any reason you can no longer foster, you will be required to hold your foster for up to a week until a new placement is found.
