Service Pricing and Information

Launch: Includes launching the boat from dry storage on stands or trailer to our docks. A flat fee for operation of the travel lift is charged at $80.

Bottom paint: Includes light sanding, taping, and painting bottom with one coat of bottom paint in your choice of color. Materials: paint is charged at $22/ft, plus a flat fee of $35 for additional supplies. Time: yard labor is charged at $70/hour, with a 3-hour minimum charge for vessels under 40' LOA, and a 4-hour minimum charge for vessels over 40' LOA. Exceptionally dirty bottoms requiring hand scraping will be charged additional hours of labor as needed.

Zinc replacement: We recommend replacing prop zincs each year. Yard labor is charged at $70/hour, plus costs of zincs and materials.

Commission: Includes connection of batteries, running engine/generator/all house systems, topping off fluids (except fuel). Mechanical labor is charged at $105/hour, with a 3-hour minimum charge. Costs of any materials used will be charged additionally. Extensive systems, boats that fail to restart quickly, etc. will be charged additional hours of labor as needed.

Remove shrink wrap/winter cover: Includes removing and recycling shrink wrap, or removing winter covers. Yard labor is charged at $70/hour.

Install bimini/canvas: Includes installing any canvas and/or biminis on vessels. Yard labor will be charged at $70/hour.

Install sails: Includes installing and hanging sails and rigging. Does not include additional costs of replacing riggings or parts needed. Rigging will be inspected to the best of our knowledge, but we are unable to offer any guarantee on rigging that we do not provide. Sail rigging labor will be charged at $95/hour.

Wash: Includes a boat wash only. Yard labor is charged at $70/hour, plus costs of supplies.

Wax: Includes a boat wax only. A wash will be done and charged prior to waxing. Yard labor is charged at $70/hour, plus costs of supplies.

• I authorize Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. to perform services on my vessel(s), and I agree to pay for services, including all labor, parts, materials, etc. immediately upon receipt of invoice.
• My vessel will not be released from Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. until my invoice is paid in full. During this time, Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. has the right to add daily storage rates to my bill.
• Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. is not liable for any losses or damages to real or personal property by any cause while the boat and/or trailer is at the property of Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc.
• It my (owner’s) responsibility to provide Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. with my full and valid credit card and insurance information before work begins and before my vessel comes onto the property of Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. I understand that work will not begin on my vessel until both are listed on file.
• I authorize Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. to charge the full balance of my invoice to the credit card on file if payment is not received in full in 30 days.
• It may be necessary for employees of Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. to operate my vessel for purposes of testing, inspection, and/or delivery, etc. and they have my (owner’s) permission to do so at my (owner’s) risk.
• For any and all deliveries of my vessel, Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. is not liable for any damages to my vessel, nor docks/property, after my vessel has been delivered. I assume the responsibility to ensure my vessel has safe and secure dockage after it has been delivered.
• Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. reserves the right to substitute parts, using those currently available. Parts removed from my vessel may be discarded unless I request prior to removal that they be saved in writing.
• All official estimates given are only estimates, and the total of my final bill may differ. Official estimates are only guaranteed for 30 days. After work has begun, Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc. will contact me (owner), regarding any charges in excess of 10% of the official estimate.
• For vessels blocked on stands in our yard, boat stands must not be moved or repositioned by anyone other than yard personnel. Stands may be repositioned at the owner's request at $75 per stand.

A copy of the vessel's insurance certificate is required prior to any vessel coming onto the property of Higgins Yacht Yard, Inc.
