All girls from the age of 4 to 11 are welcome.
What happens at the sessions?
They take place once a week and last for around an hour.
Sessions focus on developing your child’s fundamental movement skills – agility, balance coordination and speed – required not only for football but for all sports.
Girls will learn new football skills, make brilliant friendships and have fun together.
Football skills are incorporated into themed games and activities which helps to engage your child’s imagination and develop their creativity.
How much do the sessions cost?
There is a small cost of £13 per month the months of for Feb, Apr, May, July, Oct, and Nov (4 sessions), £15 for Mar, Jun, and Sept (5 sessions). This covers the costs of the coach and venue for each session your child attends and works out to be around £3 per session.
How will my daughter be looked after during the session?
All sessions are delivered by FA qualified coaches providing a safe place for girls to try football for the first time and develop key football skills.
The welfare of your daughter is key so we ensure that all Weetabix Wildcats coaches are fully trained including health and safety, safeguarding and more. We also train staff to deliver a range of different activities to ensure that the sessions are varied and fun.
What should my daughter wear?
We recommend that girls wear comfortable sportswear and closed-toe shoes but most centres will let you wear anything you want. If she’s a budding goalkeeper, we recommend packing her a pair of gloves.
