    DRAMATIC IMPROVISATION: Live Truthfully Moment to Moment, Ages 16-18, Tuesdays from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. (part of adult classes). Directors love actors who can improvise — not just for comedy, but for grounded, emotionally rich storytelling. Dramatic Improvisation is a unique class designed to help you sharpen your instincts, deepen your emotional connection, and stay present under pressure. This class merges the structured realism of Uta Hagen, the emotional honesty of Sanford Meisner, and the radical spontaneity of Viola Spolin — three legends whose methods will challenge and expand your craft. Through exercises in substitution, repetition, sensory work, and improv games, you'll learn to: 🎭 React honestly instead of "performing" 🎭 Create chemistry in relationship-driven scenes 🎭 Trust your instincts and listen deeply 🎭 Learn the Character Types that resonate with you as you create grounded, believable characters 🎭 Let go, take risks, and stay playful

    On-Camera Close-Up Private Studio Sessions (All Ages - By Appointment) . Create footage that gets you seen—not ignored. These private, on-camera close-up sessions are designed for actors of all ages to create powerful, castable clips that clearly showcase type, range, and the ability to carry high-stakes moments. Kids, teens, and adults may work across generations to build meaningful, relationship-driven scenes that translate into compelling footage for clips and reels. Actors are expected to select their 2.5 minute, 2-person scene, complete script analysis, rehearse in advance with their scene partner outside of the session, and arrive fully prepared with any necessary props. Each session includes professional close-up filming with dedicated coverage for each actor by a stationary camera, professional coaching, and immediate adjustments with reshoots—mirroring real on-set expectations. Please bring a thumb drive to collect your footage. The result is footage reflecting your skill set in high-stakes scenes, stronger on-camera technique, greater confidence, and the ability to deliver grounded performances quickly. Parent or guardian is responsible for their child or teen when rehearsing, and may be present during Studio Session. Time is rounded up in 10-minute increments, with a one-hour minimum. If you have an important audition and you self-tape at home, you can send your self-tape or share screen and we can go over it on Zoom to explore what works and what changes you need to make to be more impactful. We can tape your prepared audition in our studio. OR you can receive Private Coaching for your audition as we tape it. You can receive Private Coaching for roles you land.
