Nominations/Election Detail:

The Association of Travel Instruction is holding its annual nomination/election process for directors of the board. The Association will have 5 open seats in August 2023. Terms are each 2 years (August 2023 - August 2025).

Nominations will be taken until the end of July 2023. The election will occur during the annual conference. Candidates elected to the board will be announced at the end of the conference.

Calendar

July 31, 2023: Nomination period ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern
August 8, 2023: Election period begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern
August 8-10, 2023: Annual Conference in Salt Lake City (meet and greet opportunity available with nominees present at the conference)
August 9: 2023: Election period ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern
August 10: 2023: Results of the election shared during closing comments of the annual conference.

Qualifications:

The Board of Directors shall consist of individual voting members of the organization. The Directors shall be elected by the voting members. Only those who have been active members of the organization for at least two years shall be eligible for election to the Board of Directors. Participation on the board is on a voluntary basis.
