  • Let grape&wine innovation meet your needs

EPAWI global survey on the main challenges of wine industry
  • Thank you for participating in this survey: your contribution will be very important in directing the future innovation efforts for the European wine sector.

The EPAWI project aims to create an organisation (Wine Innovation Cluster Alliance) that fosters cooperation between technology developers, research centres and public institutions, at a global level, in order to orient private and public resources toward the most urgent needs of grape&wine production.

In this first and fundamental step of the project, we have interviewed 50 professionals representing different productive realities (large wine groups, cooperatives, family owned wineries etc., and active in different climatic, pedologic and social conditions around Europe), obtaining a long list of challenges considered important in their daily activity. With this survey, we now want to know which challenges are the top priority in each wine region.

The questionnaire is structured into 4 sections, each one containing a list of specific challenges mentioned by the stakeholders previously interviewed:

    -          GRAPE GROWING

    -          WINEMAKING

    -          MARKETING & SALES

    -          ADMINISTRATION

Please, open the section pages corresponding to your personal activity and, for each question, tick the challenges that represent a priority for you: you can select more than one choice, but never more than half of the options.

Important: The answers of the survey will be kept totally anonymous. Please answer sincerely to increase the significance of results.  The report resulting from the survey will be made available to researchers, private auxiliary companies and policy makers of all European wine regions, helping them allocate the R&D resources in the most efficient way for the development of the wine sector.

If you have any question about the survey, please email us : info[at]wicabyepawi.com
