Golden Occasions is a luxury event space located in North Hollywood. We are available to host photo shoots, baby showers, birthday parties, classes, cocktail parties, corporate events, exhibits, Film shoots, fundraisers, meetings, networking events, performance events, retail pop-ups, sweet 16's, workspaces and all creative activities and events.
What is an event contract?
An event contract is a legally binding document that explicitly lays out the terms and conditions of agreement between an event planner, space owner and client.
Prices- $150 per hour unless agreed otherwise. $200 per hour for access to the patio. An additional $150 cleaning fee added to all reservations. A %50 non-refundable deposit is due in order to reserve the date requested. Once the deposit is given the date is guaranteed in the calendar. Final and total payment due within 24 hours prior to actual event. If payment is not made, the space is not made available until the payment is finalized. If client exceeds set up and wrap time it is an additional $50 per 15 minutes after scheduled time or guest are allowed to add an additional hour for $150. Acceptance and or rejection of any request is at the discretion of Golden Occasions. $300-500 deposit due on event day to cover any damanges. Returnable after final walk thru.
Event Start Time- We are not responsible for late arrival. If you arrive late you do not receive extra time. If the space is available, additional venue rental time is available for additional cost.
Setup Time- Please allow appropriate time for your vendors to set-up, break-down and clean-up.Ex. Decorations, food prep, DJ setup & catering setup. Items are not allowed to be dropped off before setup time. If you need special accommodations for this please advise our staff.
Wrap Time- All guest should be out of the facility at wrap time in order to avoid overcharges. If you stay past your event wrap time it is an additional $50 per 15 minutes. If you would like to extend your reservation it is $150 per hour. Golden Occaions shall not be held responsible for any equipment, material, or property of any individual left on premises by the Renters, guest, attendees or its vendors.
Cleaning- Space must be returned in the condition it was given. Trash should be taken to the back patio. Renter is responsible for emptying trash from cans and replacing liners throughout the event, and ensuring trash areas are clean at end of the event.
Cleaning Fee- There is a $150 dollar cleaning fee on all reservations and events. This covers the cost of wiping surfaces, disinfecting and mopping and sweeping the floors.Extra precautions and cleaning I will be enforced due to COVID-19 restrictions. If you would like to avoid cleanup, we have a full cleaning service fee of $300.
Caters- If you are hosting an event where you plan to serve food and beverages it must be indicated on your rental argeement form. Renter will be responsible for ensuring that the caterer cleans up thoroughly. This includes removing all catering equipment, all supplies and all garbage from premises, moping/cleaning any messes in food prep/cooking area, not leaving any dirty dishes or any trash in facility. Caterers may not cook with open flame inside building.
Alcoholic Beverages-If you are hosting an event where alcohol will be served it must be indicated on your rental agreement form. The event host (who must be 21 years of age) The Renter is solely responsible for complying with all city, county and state laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations concerning the service and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
If liquor is sold, and appropriate liquor license must be obtained and provided to Facility no less than thirty (30) days prior to event.
Cameras; there are several cameras throughout the facility. Camera should not be touched, covered or moved.
Rules -
No confetti
No smoking allowed inside or near storefront. (Smoking permitted on the outdoor back patio)
No selling alcohol
The consumption of alcohol by minors is strictly prohibited
Do not tampered with or move sound system or furniture.
Music must be lowered around midnight
No sexual activity

Décor/Modifications/Repairs- Signs or other “markers” are not permitted outside the Venues unless approved in advance. No structural modifications or nails, staples, and tape will be permitted without prior approval. Any costs for repair of structure, walls, etc. to pre-event state shall be paid by Renter.
Parking-Free parking is available.
Permits-Renter is solely responsible for securing and paying for any permits that may be required in connection with the event, and will provide proof of such permits to facility prior to event/function. In addition, if city police or fire departments require onsite personnel for the event, the Renter is responsible for and will absorb all related costs.
Termination clause; Cancellation due to unforeseeable events that are beyond either party’s control.This may include weather-related incidents, a government shutdown, a pandemic, or another disaster. In this case, a full refund or a future date can be scheduled. Long-term subscriptions – rentals – collaboration require a 30 day termination notice. Immediate termination subject to fees.
Indemnification clause-If an attendee of a Renter is injured within the facility, Golden Occasion‘s is not responsible. Attendee nor client can hold Golden Occasion's LLC responsible. Including but not limited to personal injury, death or damage to property or to the premises incurred or sustained as a direct or indirect result of activities of the Renter. Renter understands that personal responsibility, common care and caution is the responsibility of all persons on property. Renter accepts the grounds and facilities “as is” and assumes full responsibility for its staff, assignees, contractors and guests upon execution of this facilities rental agreement.
Walk Through-It is strongly recommended that Renter conduct a detailed walk-thru to determine specific needs with ample time before their event. Also – prior to “load-in” a walk-thru to determine prior/existing damage is strongly recommended. At wrap of event, Renter should do a post-event walk through with Facility staff to identify any outstanding issues, damages, extra clean-up, etc.
