    Manager Application

    Just a short form to get some basic information from our managers who might be interested in managing one of our all-star teams.   

    NOTE: EVB teams are part of our league's all-star representation.  EVB managers are also eligible to be nominated and selected.  We encourage all interested managers from both leagues to apply.  

    NOTE-2 (date-ranges): If you want a good idea of date ranges for All-Stars, click THIS LINK to view our districts tournaments page from past seasons.  Some info may start being added for this years all-stars early in the rec season as well.  For our part, we generally hold tryouts around early April and we will form teams approximately 1-2 weeks after tryouts.  The league usually allows teams to start Sunday practices, even tournaments, almost immediately to get prepared for the all-star tournaments as soon as possible.  

  • MANAGERS ONLY - This information may be shared with other managers of the division.  Final selection method to be determined by the league.  This might be by manager  and division director vote, or by a committee assigned by the MPB board.  The league reserves the right to make final determination of the method.

  • Right now this is just the start of an idea to start the process earlier.  We have no deadline set yet and we have no firm plan on what, if any, changes we might make to the all-star selection process.

  • Just like regular season, the manager is responsible for his team, his teams players, his teams parents.  If the parents break any rules or get out of line in any way, as determined by host-league officials or the MPB Board of Directors, the manager is responsible to get them back in line, keep the peace.  

  • The process of manager selection can change from one season to the next, or even from one team to the next.  No situation is exactly the same, so it doesn't make sense to have the exact same process for each division.  Additionally, all manager selections are NOT OFFICIAL until the Board of Directors approves.  Keep this in mind if you are one of those who thinks it's okay to break rules just because you don't happen to agree with those rules.  This applies even to manager who are on the Board of Directors.
