On behalf of the Albemarle Commission, the North Carolina Rural Center, and the North Carolina Office of Recovery and Resiliency (NCORR) we invite you to attend a virtual public workshop regarding the Albemarle Commission Regional Resilience Portfolio Project.
The project serves to identify ways to help communities in Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Hyde, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties prepare for and recover from natural disasters and climate hazards.
Workshop attendees will learn more about the project, and be provided an opportunity to give feedback on the regional response and recovery strengths and weaknesses, share personal experiences with disaster preparedness and recovery, and engage in small group discussions regarding urban, coastal, and inland natural hazards.
Participating in this workshop will help guide the identification and eventual implementation of projects and strategies to make the region more resilient.
Please register by Wednesday, April 6th. If you have questions please reach out to email@example.com.
