  • 1. OBTAIN ONLINE PRICING OR REQUEST FOR A QUOTATION:

  • Access to Individual Product Pricing:

    The easiest way to find product pricing is to go to www.crestron.com (*) and use the search button on the top left to enter the product name. You will find both product pricing and current ETA for new orders.

    • For a quotation only: provide them with your Implementation’s Name and Equipment List – BOM (The Bill of Materials: all parts and pieces that go into the design: this is the Crestron Product names and quantities.
    • For a quotation and a Crestron Residential Certified Design: (Quotation with an extended 5-year warranty): find instructions on what additional information we’d need here.
  • 2. OBTAIN THE MOST CURRENT ESTIMATED LEAD TIMES FOR NEW ORDERS

  • Go to: https://www.crestron.com/pro/app/pricing-availability(*)

    Use the search section to search by product name, description, etc. Search results will provide you the most up to date lead times and also links to the product(s). If you click on the product name, you will go to the product page where you can also find pricing information.

    You can also click on either one of the EXPORT options: CSV, Excel or pdf to download a filtered report. To download a full product lead time report, simply clear the criteria in the search section and click in one of the EXPORT options and you will download a complete report.

  • 3. PLACE YOUR ORDER:

  • Best Method:

    Place your order using the Online Ordering Service.

    - It goes straight to Order processing. Eliminates any delays related to manually processing an email and / or a pdf order.

    - If you place the Order Online and pay Online using Billtrust, you will receive a 1% credit back to your account 30 days after the end of the Quarter.

    To access the Online Ordering Service, you need to be logged in with your Crestron credentials, if you have issues logging in, follow instructions here.

     

    Alternative Method:

    Generate order on pdf and send them to orders@crestron.com,  keeping sdalton@crestron.com and cbazan@crestron.com  in cc.

     

    To avoid any products are lost or rejected, regardless of the method used for submitting the order, please ensure you include the following instructions in your order:

    - One single Ship-to-Address and one of your employees as point of contact: full name and cellphone.

    - Days and times during the week when the shipping company can deliver the product.

  • 4. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ORDER CONFIRMATION VIA EMAIL

  • You will receive an email titled: “Order Confirmation” right after submitting it online or within around 48 hours after we receive your pdf Order.

    This communication will include:

     

    - Your Order name/number.

    - Our Order Confirmation number.

    - A breakdown of:

    • Products from your order are on stock and are in the process of being shipped.
    • Products that have lead-times, along with an estimation of when those products would be shipped.
  • 5. OR YOU CAN DOWNLOAD YOUR ORDER CONFIMATIONS

    Click on the ORDERS Tab
    Click on the DOWNLOAD tab.

  • 6. MONITOR THE ESTIMATED LEAD TIMES OF SPECIFIC PRODUCTS YOU HAVE ORDERED

  • Access your portal directly at www.crestron.com/pro/app/orders (*)

    By default, you will be in the "Orders" tab and it will show you orders placed in the last 12 months.

    For orders placed more than 12 months ago click on the tab in the middle "Last 12 months" and either choose an specific year or "All Open Orders" 

    Scroll down to locate your order or use the Search bar to enter a search criteria to quickly find a specific order.

    Click on the order number to view an order overview and the list of products.

    Choose a product line and click on the square with three dots under column "DETAILS" to view the most current estimated lead times.

  • 7. OR YOU CAN DOWNLOAD YOUR MOST UP-TO-DATE COMPLETE OPEN ORDERS REPORT

    Click on the ESTIMATED SHIPPING Tab

    Click on either one of the EXPORT options: Excel or CSV formats.

    (*) Need to be logged in with your Crestron web credentials. In case you still don’t have access to the Crestron Web or are having issues with logging-in please find follow instructions here

  • 8. IF SOME OF THE PRODUCTS YOU ORDERED ARE HAVING LONG LEAD-TIMES YOU CAN REQUEST FOR A PRODUCT SUBSTITUTION ANALYSIS

    Our Design Engineers can find out potential product replacement(s) with better looking Lead-Times or that may even be in stock.
  • Please have your design team contact our Sales Support team and provide them with all relevant project Design information:

    - Order Confirmation Number.
    - Your project's BOM
    - Identify the product(s) that you'd like to improve ETA(s) on.
    - Request for REDESIGN ASSISTANCE.

    They will work with your design team to identify potential alternative product(s) that may have better looking lead-times or that may even be in stock.

  • 9. IF SOME OF THE PRODUCTS YOU ORDERED ARE SHOWING LEAD TIMES THAT ARE WAY SOONER THAN YOUR PROJECT'S IMPLEMENTATION DATES

    You can include DO-NOT-SHIP-BEFORE dates to these products or push out the initial DO-NOT-SHIP-BEFORE date you originally requested.
  • Contact Sheri and provide her with:

    - Your PO number(s)
    - Your Order Confirmation number(s)
    - The product(s) you'd like to assign "DO-NOT-SHIP-BEFORE" date(s) / push out the initial DO-NOT-SHIP-BEFORE dates you originally requested.

    Please notice:

    (a) Requesting for "DO-NOT-SHIP-BEFORE" dates (“Frist Dates”)for products doesn’t mean that you will receive a “Promised shipping date” for these, however this does mean:

      - These shipments will be made after your provided future date(s) so you manage your cash-flow better.
      - You increase probabilities of having Crestron products available when you need them because you will keep your “spot in the (production) line” and since product shipments are based on a PO Date FIFO criterion the older your PO dates are the increased priority for shipment they will have.

    (b) You can monitor your "DO-NOT-SHIP-BEFORE" dates:


    - They will appear in your Open Orders report in a column named “First date”.
    - You can find them online: Click the ESTIMATED SHIPPING Tab and you will find this information under column "CUSTOMER REQUESTED SHIP DATE":

    (c) IMPORTANT: You can generate a request for a DO-NOT-SHIP-BEFORE date only once and for up to 90 days in the future.  

  • 10. CRESTRON WILL SEND YOU A SHIPPING NOTIFICATION

  • You will receive an email titled “Shipping Notification” when products that are part of your order(s) are being prepared for shipment in the next 1-3 days.

    This is how you will receive the communication:

     

    From: do-not-reply@crestron.com 
    Subject: Your Crestron order has been allocated for shipment

    This message will include an Excel file with information that will coincide with the Shipping List(s) you'll receive in upcoming the package(s):

    - Your Order name(s)/number(s).

    - Our Order Confirmation number(s).

    - A breakdown of:

    Products.
    Quantities.

  • 11. YOU CAN MAKE YOUR WAREHOUSE TEAM AWARE OF THE PRODUCTS THAT WILL BE ARRIVING

  • You can use the Shipping Notification info described above to create awareness about products arriving soon to your:

    - Warehouse team,
    - Team that receives products on the jobsites.

    Please notice:

    • The info received in the Shipping Notification (above) is a digital copy of the Shipping Lists that will be included hardcopy in the product boxes you'll receive.
    • After products leave the factory, shipment timeframes will vary depending on your chosen shipment company and / or shipping method.
