All mailbox doors and flags should be in full working order with no signs of rust or paint deteriorationAll wooden post mailboxes should be either painted white or stained with a clear waterproofing stain. All metal or PVC posts should be either white or black in color with no paint fading or rust. The box or house number on a mailbox must be represented in numbers that are at least 1 inch tall. Numbers must be positioned visibly on the front or flag side of the box. All manufactured mailboxes must meet the internal and external dimension requirements of USPS. Mailboxes must be placed 6 to 8 inches away from the curb; the incoming mail slot or door must be 41 to 45 inches from the ground. Curbside mailbox posts should be buried less than 24 inches deep. Landscaping around the mailbox should be trimmed as not to impact mailbox visibility or function. If a planting area has been created it should be mulched and weeded. Noise/ Noxious Guideline Page 5 section 2.4-C: Noise, noxious, offensive, or loud activities should not be carried out on any lot. Homeowners should refrain from any act or use that could reasonably cause embarrassment, discomfort, annoyance, or nuisance to the neighborhood. This includes, but limited to barking dogs and excessively loud music. The Town of Cary Noise Ordinance prohibits operation lawn mowers and other motor-driven tools out-of-doors between 9pm-7am M-F and 9pm-9am Friday/Saturday.
Animals and Pets; Covenants Section 6- No stable, dog run, poultry house or yard or other similar structure shall be constructed or allowed to remain on any Lot, not shall livestock of any nature of classification whatsoever be kept or maintained on any Lot without the express written permission of the Association first had and obtained. However, a reasonable number of household pets as determined by the Board of Director of the Associations shall be permitted, provided they are not raised for commercial purposes.
Prohibited Activity; Covenants Article VII Section 7- Each owner shall refrain from any act of use of his Lot which could reasonably cause embarrassment, discomfort, annoyance or nuisance to the neighborhood. Each Owner shall keep and maintain his Lot in a neat, orderly and well kept manner. No industry, business, trade occupation or profession of any kind shall be permitted on any Lot or Common area unless transparent to the neighborhood and unless home occupation is permitted in accordance with Cary city ordinance.
