    The Sea View Yacht Club has a long history of employing cadet and other younger members as seasonal staff. Future employers value this type of work experience. This year we will be looking for our usual Sailing & Powerboat Instructors along with our Boatmen and Safety boat drivers. We are also looking for waiters, waitresses, pizza chefs, hosts and baristas. For some of the roles, will be running some training in the Easter holidays. Michael “BJ” Bryn-Jones, our new captain of Motor Boats, is also looking for a group of qualified “RIB Guides” who can accompany members undertaking a trip in their RIB to give them greater confidence.     Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the position applied for and the nature of your offence. If you are applying for a position involving regular contact with children or vulnerable adults you will be required, at the offer stage, to apply for an Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure, with Barred List check if relevant (in Scotland: membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
